MSC Mission

As Christ was sent into the world by the Father, so we are sent by the Church to serve especially the suffering, the needy and those whose rights are disregarded. Through our love, they should experience that God is our Father who loves us all and gives meaning to our existence. (Constitutions No. 7)

JPIC

JPIC (Justice, Peace and Integrity  of Creation)

Our spiritual founder, Fr. Jules Chevalier, MSC was convinced that devotion to the Sacred Heart was the remedy for all the evils of his time.  We call this devotion today the "Spirituality of the Heart", a way of living according to the Heart of Christ who loves us and died for us that we might live. As members of the Chevalier Family, we are convinced that our JPIC efforts flow from our charism to make God's love known everywhere and to live the Spirituality of the Heart.        http://jpicmscsisters.blogspot.it/

Laity

Sharing our Charism and Mission:
The vision of Fr. Jules Chevalier, to make the Sacred Heart known and loved everywhere led him to a deep desire to form a separate branch of laity who would be formed in and share the same spirit, charism and mission of his congregation.         http://laitychevalier.blogspot.it

General Chapter

The 17th General Chapter of the Missionary Sisters of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus will take place in Lima, Peru from May 30 – June 27, 2014. It is a time for discernment and for promoting renewal and changes where required.  At our recent General Conference in Namibia in 2013, after reflecting on our spirituality and the present situation of our congregation, we chose the above logo and the overall theme for the General Chapter: Choose Life with Renewed Heart; “I have come that they may have life, life to the full.” (Jn 10:10).      http://www.mscsisters.blogspot.it/
